While I’m working away on the multi-part Egyptian series (there is just so much material) here’s a little snack to hold you over.
My research doesn’t go into the occult too much, but I find the intersection between society and magical practices fascinating. The University of Manchester’s John Rylands Library is hosting the exhibition Magic, Witches, & Devils in the Early Modern World. The exhibit opens today, will run for most of the year, and is free to the public. I suggest anyone that can make a trip to Manchester to give it a look. As a bonus, you get to spend some time in the John Rylands Library, which is my idea of neo-gothic architecture heaven.
