I am so excited to announce I will be publishing a monthly newsletter, Aromatica de Profundis, starting August 1st, 2021, with enrollment opening July 1st!

Why a newsletter?

Well, I have multiple areas of interest and research.  I’ve found that some people know me from one aspect of what I do but have no idea about the other bits. This newsletter will serve as a hub for all of my smelly work and shenanigans. It will include my research, writings, info on classes, and observations all together in one place. There are peeks behind the curtain at upcoming projects, exclusive content on scent cultures, and musings on things I’m currently working on.

There may even be a few neat interviews in the coming months. This project will allow me to create more relaxed and fun content that doesn’t have a home in my bubble at the moment. Yes, there will be lots of perfume talk, but I want to dig deeper than the ad copy to understand the impact these olfactive artefacts have on our lives.

This newsletter will also allow me to have a closer and more intimate connection with the kind folks that enjoy my work. I’m hoping to answer questions and have some interesting subscriber discussions outside the traditional social media platforms.

I’ll be honest, I’ve been pretty unhappy with the sort of heartless grinding required to grow your audience ‘the right way’. So instead, I’m going to focus on creating better and more intentional products for you. We all deserve better than automated post drops and pre-written tweets. I think we can all feel the insincerity. If my audience grows, cool! If it doesn’t? I can look back on work that I am proud of and we can have some laughs along the way.
