My name is Nuri, and I am the weirdo behind Death/Scent. My passion for fragrance began on my 8th birthday with a gift set of Love’s perfumes (Rain Scent and Baby Soft are clearly the best of the bunch). Beyond just the scents, I loved the grown-up ritual of putting on my kiddy perfume every morning. It gave me a new way to see, or rather smell, the world and my place in it. Thus began a long love affair with fragrance, ritual, and the art/science of scent. It was only a matter of time before this aspect of my character merged with my macabre curiosity, and death acceptance advocacy to become D/S.

I’m an avid collector of indie fragrances (getting in the 200+ area these days) and also study perfuming in my free time. Outside of my smelly hobby, I’m finishing up my Ph.D., work in the non-profit sector, hang out with my rad husband, and perpetually clean slobber off the ceiling from my 75 kilos Newfie.
